Good day to all my fellow hivers, today I'm gonna be sharing with you how my special day was celebrated.
Early morning greeted by my puppies
Every first month of the year I always look up to how I'm gonna be spending my birthday. When I was a child I never experienced having a birthday celebration it was because my parents could not afford to have one. But when I grew up I always wanted to celebrate with the people around me.
Early surprise from my workers
That dream was fulfilled when I got married and had a supportive husband he set aside money for my birthday. But as we grew older all I wanted were not material gifts but to see people especially my family come and visit me as I invited them.
I wanted to see people happy just like me during that special day. I loved to see their faces as they were eating and enjoying the food that I prepared.
Birthday surprise
Early in the morning, my husband sang to me a birthday song inside our room, and when I went out and went to the kitchen our working students also prepared a surprise for me, it was a cake and a pizza. I was surprised that even though they didn't have enough budget still they showed me their gesture of love.
This time because of inflation the allotted budget was not sufficient anymore. So I change the plan and go for a simple one. I just bought five kilos of pork, fish and seashells. I also prepared bam-e and lechon manok. I also make pakwan juice and sodas.
I prepared it together with my working students and my sister was the one who cooked the noodles with her husband who helped us grill the pork and the fish.

By 6:00 in the evening everyone from my family arrived and sang to me a birthday song as my husband handed me his bouquet.

Everyone after we prayed dug in and started eating our dinner together with lots of laughter in the air.
When my younger sister arrived she brought me my favorite cake from Cardinal Bakeshop my all-time favorite Ube flavor. I was so happy as she handed me my requested cake.

We spent the night together talking and laughing while enjoying the food. They stayed a little longer and talked about life and the goodness of God.
By the time everyone said their goodbyes, it was also our time to clean everything.

Unspeakable words of joy are what I feel on this special day. Having my family celebrate with me was a treasure to keep. I am always thankful for the people around me especially my husband who always supported me in all my endeavors.

As we are getting older we also have a short time together in our family. It was because we have different paths taken and this kind of celebration was a way of uniting together.
