RE: One More Beer: An interesting restaurant that I will definitely return to

The name is very good and more importantly a name everyone will remember. The samplers look great and a quick way to find out which one is going to be the favorite. Thai food can be over the top with spices and prefer being able to taste the freshness of the ingredients. The oil does look a little excessive.

Sort:

without the excess oil the cooking would take longer I guess. This is one problem with almost any hastily prepared SE Asian food. It's all in a wok and if they want to cook it fast it has to be oil city. How else are you going to crank out a dish in 30 seconds?

True. They use peanut oil or is it normal cooking oil?

I would imagine they probably use whatever is cheapest which over here is likely to be palm oil.

I have heard they use a lot of peanut oil but palm oil would also be used. Just curious if it had a certain smell or taste.
