It was my wonderful day I've experienced during my Travel visit at our Lot here in Barangay Punta Silum. We can't really visited this place because it is quite far from our residential areas and aside of that it takes a lot of time and expenses in order to reach the place. But today, I decided to visit the farm and see what is the situation of the place. It was 8 in the morning when I arrived at the farm, I was very excited to be at the place looking for any fruits that I can get back home.

At first, before I went to the farm I ate my breakfast first and it was lucky for me because I some delicious food to eat likw this chicken calderita, Pancit, adobo and sweet cakes given by our Generous neighbor. We ate this foods along with my Family and after that, I prepared the things I want to brought and started to wait for any passenger vehicles to arrived.

As I arrived at the place, I instantly checked our Tenant's house to see if those parts of the structure are still in use. Our tenants left and He lived to Cebu together with his Children. This structure is very unique and we planned to renovate it by replacing those broke lumbers and clean the areas. This will be our rest house everytime when me and my family visited this place.

The next structure I've checked was this old abandoned Pig Pen. Some of the lumbers of this structure is already useless and it really needs to rebuilt. The concrete floors are intact and there are no cracks on it only light materials that served as foundations of the pig pen. It was built at the middle of the forestry place so the odor wont reach to the house.

Next is the coconut drier structure called "Landahan". This is the place were the coconuts processed into copra. It put here at the top and smoked it to make it dry before removing it to the coconut shell. But as far as I observed, the structure cannot be use because of the broken parts of the structure. The floor made of bamboo pieces are already broked including the foundation so it also really needs to rebuilt.

Our Fruit Trees:

We planted almost 100 manggo trees here and all of it are already produced lots of manggo fruits. This trees grows many years already and it continued to expand its branches. The best I did was to burn those leaves near at the trees to keep those insects away. It also helps the trees produced manggo fruits without using any synthetic chemicals.

This is the only one sampaloc tree we have here at the farm. Our tenant planted this tree and it continued to grow and expand. Everytime when it produced sampaloc fruits, we always went here just to looked for any ripe sampaloc fruits. We sell some of it to the Market and gladly we solds all of it.

This is our Sinigwelas fruit tree but it dies and dried up. The best thing I will do is to replanted another young Sinigwelas plants. This big old trees already produced lots of fruits for many years. It is easy to climb up the tree because there are lots of branches and aside of that, it grows short because it is marcoted.

Native Hardwood Trees:

My Grandfather planted this trees many years has past, and now the place is very cool and relaxing because of the shady areas brought by this trees. The dry branches fall to the ground will be put in one place and make as a firewood. This is what we always do everytime when we visited here. We really want to plant lots of trees so that the place will always cool and relaxing and it gives lots of firewoods.

The coconut husks are also dried out in this concrete wall. It will dry instantly when it placed in this kind of piles. This will also used as a firewoods and aside of that it can be sell and sold to the Market every sunday.

After a few hours of exploring the place, I started to gathered this ripe Pomelo fruits. I am very happy that I gain lots of it and my plan is to brought it back home. My activities was a success and I hope we can start renovating those structure to make it use again. Thank you for visiting my post, have a nice day to everyone.
