Life can be very difficult, if we choose to live it that way. However, if we focus at the right things, welp, things can be very beautiful. If we can't change the result, we better change the input. If it's not right, try left!
It's been raining for days, getting to the office from the parking lot prove to be very difficult in view of crossing a 4 lanes road. Especially when we need to use the road divider to stop between two lanes, there's water puddle at the middle. In this case, we can use two ways to overcome this obstacle. First, get up earlier than other people. Arriving at the office earlier than other people, so I can safely cross the road during low traffic. Or? Going in super late, when everyone are clogged up at the road, I can squeeze between the traffic and cross the road. However, I should beware of motorcycles criss crossing.
@teohrene and Chrisopher are both my best buddy at work. Let's not talk about the toxic environment from others, I'm glad to be able to spend lunch hour time with these two beautiful people. Sometimes we do rant about the shitty job we're getting, but hey the job doesn't choose us, we choose the job. We better suck it up and take it up like a man, rather than whine like a baby.
Dinner has been quite boring lately due to my blood pressure issues. My usual routine has been steamed potatoes, celery, carrots, sometimes beet roots. So happen we're running out of potatoes the other day, so waifu makes me an omelette and was given a small piece of fried chicken to go with it.
Since it's raining, we have not much choice as surrounding our office area doesn't have much food place to go. There's this japanese restaurant next to our building, but the price is quite expensive for my budget. I guess the easiest and cheapest way to feed me will be garlic fried rice, two of them. That already cost me 20 bucks.
Colleague Irene gave me a ride during a cross border site visit. It was so much fun visiting common client together, the long drive also gave us much time to talk about life, about our youth, about our family and even religion, things that we don't usually talk about. After that, I took the train going back to office where my car parked for the day.
This Christmas is going to be a helluva performance by the choir team that the choir master manager to scout talents from many different cathedral, and even non catholic but qualified singer to join. The practice session was hard, but none of us complaining knowing this is where the magic began.
By the time we finishes the practice, its already way pass dinner time. I took out some of the celery and carrot sticks, to go with two buns I bought during the client visits earlier. Not the best, but it was better than not having any of those. Speaking of which, the buns are really soft and tasty.
Following day, we meet up at the office block nearby and had our breakfast, continue our conversation the day before. I got myself a cup of coffee, a set of toast bread, and the half boiled eggs. Once again, not the best, can be better. The best is always about the people and the conversation.
And before I can arrange for late lunch, @walterjay informed he's in town. So, I gotta arrange my work accordingly, so I can sneak out from the office and meet him up for a quick lunch. I'm so glad that he remembers me and look forward to meet again during his next visit.
