The usual weekend

As a regular foodie, I like to travel all around the town to find good food at affordable price. It's not that I want to avoid paying extra for better food, however Kuala Lumpur is known for paying a premium price and still get regular low quality food.

Pork noodle is one the well known comfort food amongst the Chinese community. It has minced pork, wheat noodle goes with an egg, topped with fried pork lard as finishing. A bowl of this will cost somewhere around RM10 to RM15 depending on the restaurant location. However, over some local residential area, it can go below 10.

Coffee is a big thing in Malaysia. Partly, Ipoh White Coffee is known for it's smoothness, sweetness and milkyness. Technically any real coffee fan will disagree that was a good cup of coffee as all those 3 ingredients are overpowering the original coffee taste. Oh well, that's how we Malaysian like to portray ourselves as known our shit 😂 that was my cup of good shit and a bowl of rice noodle in meatballs.

We went to this dessert boutique cafe, heavily influenced by korean style. Ordered a waffle and this thing costs us RM30 😂 outrageously expensive in my opinion, but let's call it fair. They didn't point a gun at my nose to sell me this. The waffle is decently crumble and the ice cream wasn't too sweet. 3 of us share it, together with drinks, I paid RM70 for the total bill. OMG.

I also did the morning walk to burn off some extra calories I brought overnight. One of the biggest thing is to climb this hill at the high class residential. Good thing is, the rich fag all went to the gym, and I can have their pedestrian walk all by myself.

Fried instant noodles is one big thing amongst all Malaysian. This shit is not exactly healthy by any chance. Instant noodles itself has enough sodium and possibly high content of food stabilisers to keep it long shelf life. Frying it with Sambal makes it absorb even more spices to create a mouth ball of saliva storm

Apam is one of our all time favourite Indian dish. I believe the local Indian do it in the morning as the coconut was freshly picked and squeezed. Junior like it with brown sugar, whilst I preferred original, without the extra sweetness.

Usually only 1 apam won't do the justice to my stomach, I knew I will be over dosage of sugar, but still gotta do it as I can't resist with the coconut milk.

Cheese Naan is a regular term if you know your Indian food. However, omelette Naan is totally out of this world. Who in the right mind will order this? Except none other than my goodself 😂 oh trust me, it look so good that I forgotten how a naan should taste like. Ok I'm not gonna lie, it looks better than it taste.

Nevertheless, blood pressure is sky high, my mouth condition isn't going any better than half a year ago. This is probably one of the last time I can make foodie post. Pretty soon I am going back to cow mode, following @justinparke footsteps, hopefully that will help to improve my condition.

Sort:

Chinese bread is a really fun meal than all foods. At the same time you have a name in the unique skills of food lovers. Chinese soup and fried egg delicious noodles with meat are really fun to eat. Thanks for sharing your beautiful presentation with different meals.

Not sure if the translator works well for you, but it's definitely bad for me 😂 your country doesn't have naan?

oh naan but here we say nan. This may be a problem with translation

haha, we too have long been puzzled by his unusually long comments which could often be reduced to a few words with much more clarity 😄

A legendary foodie weekend! Your taste buds went on a full marathon 😀 Enjoy every bite while you can and hoping cow mode keeps you healthy too!🤗

And it began. 0 meat this whole day. Now that I am struggling to find any good pictures to post as a foodie 😂

The veggie life begins!🥦Don’t worry about the foodie pics, you’ll find some plant-based gems soon enough.😀

Food sustains human life and keeps us healthy, but we must choose the types of food that are beneficial to our health.

we are friend

Thanks for the encouraging word. At this time, I can't even find an excuse to eat something sugary and heavy animal fat content food anymore.

It is ok to eat unhealthy food sometimes , just to fulfill our cravings. Just enjoy the food, and give it to the limits.

Yeap. I have been enjoying a little too often, so I'm at my absolute limit now 😅 to an extend of being exist or non-existance.

Yeah just eat slowly hehehe. And enjoy every moment you have together with your family. Following some interdictions is not bad, but this is just a reminder. Live it to the fullest have a goodnight!

Looks like a tasty weekend! 😋 Hope your health gets better soon so you can keep enjoying all these foods!”

Nope. I ended up on the opposite side. I'm now on strict diet, see if I can pull this off without blowing a big hole in my bank account or dead.

all of that looks fantastic. Especially the supermodel looking at the camera in the last pic

That supermodel is having a big issue with his health right now. Since he doesn't have a medical insurance, he's probably going to go on strict diet for a very long time, or he will stop posting for the rest of his life 😂

I'm hungry reading your blog and looking at the foods. What a beautiful weekend spent well

Yes. Food is one of the most important tourist attraction in Malaysia 😂

Thanks for posting in the ASEAN Hive Community.
