Greetings @asenhive, and hello world👋

One of my favorite fruits is dragon fruit, or what we call “pitaya.” Every time I eat it, I feel so refreshed and happy because of its natural sweetness and vibrant color. Dragon fruit is not just delicious; it also looks very attractive with its bright pink skin and white flesh filled with tiny black seeds. For me, eating this fruit feels special, but at the same time, it is a little expensive when bought from the market. In fact, the price is usually high, and that is why it is considered a “mahal” or costly fruit here.

Because of this, my mom decided to plant dragon fruit in our backyard. She wanted us to enjoy eating without worrying about the high cost in the market. At first, it was just a simple idea, but soon it became something meaningful for us. Taking care of the dragon fruit plants turned into a family activity. We watered them, supported their vines, and waited patiently for them to grow and bloom. The process was not always easy, but it was worth it. When harvest time finally came, we were so excited to see the fruits ready to be picked.

The moment we tasted the dragon fruit from our own garden, we realized how sweet and satisfying it was. It felt different from buying in the market, because this time, the fruit was a product of patience and effort. I also noticed that the dragon fruits we harvested were naturally sweeter compared to the ones we usually bought. Maybe it is because they were fresh, or maybe because they were planted with love and care.

Now, dragon fruit is not only one of my favorites, but it also reminds me of the importance of growing our own food. It shows that with a little effort, we can enjoy something healthy, delicious, and special without spending too much. Eating dragon fruit from our garden is truly one of the sweetest joys I will always treasure. Have a blessed day and more power đŸ«¶

This was also my son's favorite fruit. It is so tasty.

Yeah it taste so good đŸ€—đŸ˜‹

It's way more delicious when blended like a dragon fruit shake with ice and milk. Sometimes I also eat it but I'm going to place it first on the freezer to get cooler. This is very nutritious.

Sure!🙂 Yes, I will try that.

I often eat this fruit as a meal replacement to reduce sugar and lose weight effectively.

Yeah there's a lot of health benefits that can help to us

I liked this fruit , a kind of not really sweet , there's another version you have to try on like dragon fruit shake or homemade icecream. It's very delicious in pinkish color.

I’ll try what you said, it looks delicious, but for me, it’s still tastier when it’s fresh, newly harvested, and eaten right away 😁

Hehehhe yeah it's better to eat in original version.

I never tried dragon fruits I'm really curious about this fruit flavour.

Its super delicious and nutritious fruits.. Must try soon

I love that this became a meaningful family activity! 💖 Homegrown dragon fruit looks absolutely delicious 🙌 That reward of enjoying something fresh and earned is priceless! 💕

Yeah thats right, thats why my mom planted that on our backyard😊

I also want to grow this plant. Looks like easy to look after. Some I saw they plant it in the field where it gets a lot of sunshine🙂.

That’s right, try planting and you’ll have something to harvest in time.
