Last Friday, it was an ordinary day. My husband and I worked and kids at school. The end of the week that we were all waiting for and the weekend comes.
After work, he picked me up and we followed a normal routine. Usually, Aya goes by bus but yesterday Táto called her to say that she will wait at school. Then, we went to Aya's school and later met Zoe at the train station.
When we were inside the car, he told us. Who's hungry??? The most cherished memories aren't scheduled; they just happen, a quiet, supportive hand on the shoulderThree of us said Yes and Aya had the loudest answer. It means that she was really hungry. And I thought we were heading home right away, but instead, he wanted to surprise us.

Train Station.
His words felt special and he just wanted to cherish memories that aren't scheduled, no plans, unexpected, they just happen. A loving husband and a father in our life.

We drove all the way to the restaurant. We were all hungry and thinking about where we would go. The moment we arrived and the atmosphere felt cozy. There was a small playground and it was made of wooden structures and trees are like guards of the playground. Aya was so happy and she wanted to play. She went straight to the swing and her laughter floating in the cool air.

Inside the restaurant, it was warm and rustic. Wooden tables, chairs and a place like a cabin. It wasn’t crowded, only us and another family who dined there.
The staff came and gave us the menu. We ordered dinner, affordable price and nothing fancy. But everything for sure it tasted better because we were together. While we were waiting for our dinner and we chatted about our day. Especially what's happening with our kids. Good and bad they need to share with us.

The food was ready. It was a simple, delicious and satisfying dinner. Like enjoying our moments with the people who matter most.

After dinner, we enjoyed some coffee and took some snaps for Aya.
My husband doesn't need special occasions to eat outside. From time to time he wants to treat us.
On the way home, the horizon glowed with a deep blue sky. And it was fading slowly, it was a stunning view.
The daylight fades felt like a perfect ending to our beautiful evening.
It wasn’t planned and I really appreciate everything he gave to us. No occasion needed and just togetherness.
Our ordinary day turned into something special.
