Hello hivers! Have you been into a family date? Well you must have so you can have a time to talk and bonding. So we went into the near municipality for the motorcycle change oil and also I got my nails on the toe done. It was so blazing hot and we are craving for Halo-Halo. My best option is Mang Inasal. For me Mang Inasal has the simplest halo-halo and convenient place to eat but my husband don't like their halo-halo so we're trying to find on the blue app some halo-halo stores and we are ending here at Maven's. I don't know if this is popular in town but as long as they have halo-halo on the menu, it's good to go.
This is their logo and setup. It is airconditioned but still the room is hot especially when the person in charge started cooking some menus. It has awesome lights with different colors and my kids always sightseeing from above. They only had six tables and there's a long table on the front and their cooking station is just right on front of us. The place is small but it's convenient since there were only two customers in the room then us.
This is the long table here as well as the long and hanging chair. My kids had fun and I took pictures of them because the chair is so high. They are amazed of the new things they had discovered.
I ordered two halo-halo for me and for my husband. There halo-halo is just right. I can't say it's the best because it has very few ingredients, a few milk and it doesn't have so many fruits and gelatin on it. But it has a big ice cream that you can taste along while you ate the whole halo-halo. Unlike other halo-halo that when you eat it you can taste fruits and milk not just the ice and the ice cream. So for me their halo-halo is 5 out of 10. Then we have this plate of snacks which has hot dogs, siomai and tempura. This one is great and I love the sauce. The fry is just right with a crunchy crust but slimy inside. This plate is 10 out of 10.
Then the kids had ube ice cream. It's just a normal ube ice cream just added a toppings of marshmallows and sprinkles to look appealing. Looking by the kids eating this is actually 10 out of 10.
Seeing by the smile and the looks we enjoyed it so much. This is my favorite dessert and I can only eat it very seldom so I grab the chance to eat it all. After eating I feel so refreshed and a bit renew. The food is good m, the staffs are friendly but for me I won't go there again. I have some favorites like Mom's Grill in the nearby municipality and also Halovers in our municipality it's way better than Maven. But overall the experience was really really good.
