Hello hivers! How was your day? I hope you are having a great day. Today I'm back because I'm gonna tell you about my son's christening. Christening is a sacrament where Christians are welcomed as free from the original sin. Normally mothers have christening when babies are month old but in my case my husband did not allow me to celebrate it without him so we just grab chances when he is free and now was the chance to celebrate it.
These are our pictures inside the church after the christening. It was lucky that we had a chance to take a picture with the priest. We also had 2 godparents. That was my brother and our neighbor because it was really urgent that we didn't planned it. But I believe they will be good 2nd parents. Here are also my parents. My mother is one of the priest'sassistant that's why she has different suit.
After the mass, we headed to a local place just 2 kilometers away from our house. We went to a halo2x store. Some parents will have a very big celebration at home but in our case we spent it a local snack cafe where they mainly serve halo2x. My favorite flavored shaved ice with gelatin and fruits.
These are the foods I ordered for my family and for our one guest. A halo2x which is everyone's favorite. I also ordered pizza but they only had 1 available flavor since it is already evening. And I got French fries - a favorite of my 2 kids. I also wanted to have burger since that is my brother's favorite snack but unfortunately it was sold out.
Halo-halo is my father's favorite and I had took a picture of how happy he was. In the 2nd picture that was my husband with our son enjoying the overflowing halo2x. My 2 kids are also enjoying the fries and pizza so much. I took a glimpse on my guest and I think she's happy with her meal. I thanked her for spending her time today attending the seminar and the mass with us.
We had a great time tonight.Even though the weather is so rainy and it was so cold outside. I thanked God for a successful celebration that I'm longing to happen and it took 2 years and 4 months to happen.
If you've come this far thank you so much for reading my posts.
See you on my next blog. Lovelots!
