Hello, how are you? I've been craving chicken feet for a long time, and good timing, my mom bought some from the market. Adobong Chicken Feet is always my go-to recipe when chicken feet are the main ingredient, nothing more. The savory and spicy flavor comes from the tender chicken feet.
I used to not like adobong chicken feet, but since I tasted my mom's cooked before, not bad~ as long as it is cooked right. Fun fact, we call it "Adidas" here in the Philippines because it looks like the logo of the brand LOL. So, if you're curious about what it tastes keep scrolling and let me show you how to cook it. :D
Ingredients I Used:
Ingredients I Used:
- Half Kilo Chicken Feet
- 6 cloves of Garlic
- 1 Medium Red Onion
- 1/2 tsp All-in-one Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp of Ground Pepper
- 1 tbsp of Cooking Oil
- 2l of Water
- 5 Chilis
- 1 tbsp White Vinegar
- 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
Time To Cook Adobong Chicken Feet!
In a hot pan, I added 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.
Next, I added the aromatics into the pan and then sautéed for about a minute or until the fragrance comes out.
Then I added for chilies and then sautéed them for about a minute. Using fresh chillis is better than those flakes.
Then, after that, I added the clean chicken feet into the pan and I sautéed for about a minute too.
Time to add the flavor, I use about 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, and I let it seep into the chicken feet.
After that, I added about half a teaspoon of ground pepper.
And then I added about 1 teaspoon of all-in-one seasoning.
Then I added about 2 L of water. Or when the chicken is still not tender, add a little more water.
And then let it cook for about 20 minutes or more with the lid on. I used medium-high heat.
To balance the taste, I added a tablespoon of white vinegar.
Serve and plate! Let's eat!
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
