Hello! How are you? Being the cook of the family is challenging sometimes, so it was a surprise what ingredients my mother bought that day. Yesterday, my mom bought curry powder seasoning, and there was leftover chicken in the fridge. I am guessing what recipe I was cooking that day. When I hear the word curry powder, chicken curry is always on my mind. I thought chicken always had coconut milk, but you can cook it with just curry.
Ingredients I Used:
- Half Kilo Chicken Wings
- 3 Medium Potatoes
- 1 Medium Bell Pepper
- 1 Medium Carrot
- 4 tbsp of Cooking Oil
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 Medium Ginger
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
- tsp Ground Pepper
- 2 tbsp Curry Powder Seasoning
- 2 Cups Water
- 1 Chicken Broth Cube
- 250 ml Coconut Milk
Let's Cook!
Then, I put in the sliced potatoes and fry them until brown.
After frying them. I set them aside for later.
I am going to remove the excess oil, leaving 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, and then cook the chicken.
Then, cook it until browning starts appearing.
I sautee the aromatics like garlic, red onion, and ginger.
After that, I added 2 tablespoon of fish sauce.
Then, I added a teaspoon of ground pepper.
I added 2 tablespoon of curry powder seasoning.
Then, I added 2 cups of water.
I added a chicken broth cube.
Then, I added 250 ml of coconut milk.
Then I closed the lid and simmered it for 15 minutes in low heat.
After that, I added the potatoes, carrot, and bell pepper.
Then I plate the curry! Ready to eat!
