The competition is high in the food industry. To thrive and stand out, one must need to come up with something unique to pique people's interest. One of which is the concept of combining pizza and burger together. Sounds weird at first but a business made it possible.
I've been seeing this pizza burger ad for a while now on my feed whenever I scroll on a social media app. And whenever I see it, I always wonder how good it tastes. I can't wait for the day I could finally eat a pizza burger.
Mother's Day gave me an excuse to finally try it. Since I already have no time to prepare foods for our visit to our mama, I decided to just order foods. I sent a message to the restaurant few days before I ordered to see their menu and prices because I know I won't have time for it on the next coming days.
So the night before Mother's Day, I already ordered the foods and had it delivered to our home.
This one that I ordered is their 10 inches Special 4-in-1 Mozza. It costs Php 708 ($12.79 USD). I think the price is just alright considering this is their ultimate pizza burger on their menu. It consists of assorted pizza burger flavors which is why I went for it. I wanted to try their different pizza burgers without spending more so getting the Special 4-in-1 Mozza was a sensible choice.

The pizza burger was also wrapped in foil when I opened it. I assume it's to keep the food warm or maybe prevent the sauce from leaking which failed by the way because some of the sauce leaked and made mess on my clothes as I brought it inside the house.
Anyway, another concern about the foil was the toppings sticking on it when I lifted the cover. As someone who loves cheese and doesn't want wasting food, seeing some of the toppings sticking on the cover makes me sad. Maybe they use a pizza saver with longer stand (if there is) because the pizza burger is obviously thicker than a regular pizza.
Going back, this is how the filling of the pizza burger looks like. It has ground meat, slices of cucumber, cabbage, and tomato. Those are the ingredients I could recall.
The burger filling is the same for the whole pizza, the flavor only varies on the pizza on top. Some pizza flavors I could recognize were garlic mozza and premium mozza. The pizza has 8 slices which consists of 4 pizza flavors. As it's thick and packed with ingredients, expect to make a mess when eating.
When it comes to its taste, it's good and delicious but didn't match my expectations. The ground meat was okay but I can tell the meat wasn't the best quality. The cheese also doesn't taste very cheesy. When eating pizza, we really wanted to get a taste of the cheese, right? Also, I have to mention that the pizza burger crust was soft. I find it weird. It was soft and almost close to a steamed bun or siopao. However, despite all that the pizza burger was still good overall. It's better with hot sauce/ketchup, of course!
I immediately ate one slice as my dinner when I received it. I also have to know its taste when it's freshly cooked. After that, I kept it in the fridge for the next day. I usually order our foods to bring at the cemetery a day before because we visit early in the morning and so restaurants aren't still open.

In addition, I also bought a Garlic Beef Quesadilla. I only bought the smallest size, 7 inches, which is why it was only divided into 4 slices.

It seems thin lacking beef filling but it's actually just right. I was really hungry during that time and my first bite of the garlic beef quesadilla felt heavenly. Lol. It tasted really delicious as I fix my hunger.
Anyway, just a short story before I end this post. My orders were delivered by two women and one was wearing the cute helmet with a big bow behind. The one we used to see on social media worn by lady riders. It looks really cute in person! No wonder why they really catch attention on the road.
Will I buy a pizza burger again? Maybe yes but not soon. What I love about the pizza burger is the generous amount of ingredients. I think it's worth the price.
Have you already eaten a pizza burger?
