Garlic parmesan chicken wings. This flavor is God-sent.
When I first took a bite of it, my tastebud felt like it won a jackpot. That's how I felt eating my first garlic parmesan chicken wings back in 2022.
Ever since then, I try to look for this specific restaurant and make sure I eat one whenever I go somewhere which has one branch that I could easily go to. Sometimes, I also ask my brother to bring home some when he goes to Manila.
Since Manila is hours away from where I am, I could only have that chicken few times a year. Sometimes, none. Now I dared myself to make a homemade garlic parmesan chicken to ease my craving.
🧄🧀 Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings 🧈🍗

As far as I know, Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings is one of the most-loved chicken wing flavors in the Philippines and I understand why. It's buttery, cheesy, and garlicky. Perfection. I could even consume more than a cup of rice. What diet? Lol.
It's also easy to make! If you're also craving for this specific flavor of chicken wings, worry no more because I am going to show you how you can make it at the comforts of your home.
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 Chicken Wings
- ⅓ Garlic Bulb (minced)
- 3 Tbsp. Butter
- Parmesan Cheese Powder
- Cooking Oil
- Breading Mix (Garlic & Spicy)
- Dried Ground Parsley Leaves
LET'S COOK!
• First thing we do is to separate the drumette and wingette (with wing tip) of the chicken wings. These will give you six pieces of chicken meat. Then coat it with your prefered breading mix.

I remember I still have some of these breading mix opened which I used last year so I used it to bread the chicken. I added more of the garlic breading and less of the spicy breading.

• Mince the garlic and set aside. This was also the parmesan cheese powder that I used.

• Then proceed by frying the chicken. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo while frying the chicken. It's simple anyways. Add oil to the pan, wait for the oil to heat up before placing the pieces of chicken meat. You'll know it's already cooked when the chicken has turned golden brown. Then put the fried chicken over a paper towel to drain the excess oil.

• To make the garlic parmesan coating, add butter on the pan and fry the garlic (but not too fried). You can see here that I am gradually adding butter. It's my first time making this recipe and I was still estimating how much butter is enough.
• Then I added some parmesan cheese, maybe around a half tablespoon. Mix and continue frying the garlic until it has turned light brown.

• Then toss the fried chicken until the butter and garlic has coated each chicken. Make it quick so the garlic won't get fried too much like mine. You can see some of the garlic were already completely fried because I was too slow mixing. Lol.

• Then dust the parmesan cheese powder. What I did was pour generous amounts of it over before tossing, then added more after the side which doesn't have the powder was on top. Then I continued tossing until the chicken is completely coated.

Make sure you cooked your rice ahead because it's time to eat!!!
Craving Satisfied! 💯🤤

I like adding more parmesan powder on top of the chicken and sprinkling some dried ground parsley because it's more delicious and appetizing that way. I think it's also better to use flavored breading mix than using a plain one.

Now bring in the rice! This food deserves lots of rice!

I also like eating with my bare hands when I eat chicken wings. It's more delicious that way. Don't forget to wash your hands before eating! Restaurants also provide gloves for their customers so don't worry if you're eating somewhere with no access for washing your hands.
I am very satisfied with the garlic parmesan chicken wings I cooked but nothing compares to my fave chicken wings restaurant. There's one chicken wings restaurant nearby before which was told to be a rival. I bought one order for my birthday and I was disappointed.
That's all! Well, if you're going to try this recipe then I hope you like it! Enjoy! :)
