My 14-Day Lifestyle Reset Challenge in RED

Over the past three months, I have fallen into unhealthy habits that have taken a toll on my well-being. (Had my clinical laboratory checkup. The result showed that I had an elevated level of cholesterol.)

I've noticed a significant weight gain of approximately 5 kilograms in a relatively short period.

Day 3: Progress
Today marks the third day of my NingXia Reset 14-Day Challenge, and I can already feel the journey being both challenging and rewarding. I started the day with a short run, which was invigorating yet exhausting. Pushing myself to go a bit further than before left me tired but motivated by the progress I made.

Day 4: Setback

Missed the target number of steps today. Tried to make it up with an evening walk after dinner. While walking I found this lost hatchling maybe taking an evening flight.

Day 5: Build
The weather was cool this afternoon so I decided to take a short run to MDasein Office and did the planking when I arrived.

Day 6: Sustain

Spent most of the day cleaning the house. When the chores were done, I picked some mulberries outside.

I've been experiencing restful sleep during the challenge, and I feel refreshed and invigorated.

Day 7: Sunday Strides

A week into the challenge. Many things have changed. New healthy habits developed.

Day 9: Focus

As the challenge progresses, I sometimes see myself veering and drifting from the goal. I always see to it to catch and pick myself up to keep on course.

Glad to have made more than 10k steps despite the bed weather.

Day 10: Push

Sometimes you have to push yourself because if you don't, nobody wilĺ.

Made more than 13k steps today and ate popcorn for snacks. A healthier alternative to junkfoods and chips.

Day 11: Forward!

"Today is better than yesterday, tomorrow will be better than today!"

In this two-week challenge, I learned to keep pushing myself forward, to appreciate life more and to take care of my mind and body.

I am now more mindful of the things I eat, the amount and quality of drink I take.

Day 12: Persevere

👟Made a short run late in the morning which primed my day. Had to rest for lunch and had to take cover as the rain started to fall.
🍅My simple lunch, mixed succulent veggies and dried fish (not included in the photo)
👟I also had short walks in the afternoon. Too bad the rain started to fall again. My walk was cut short.
🎖️Making more than 11,000 steps made my day today. Happy weekend!

Day 13 & 14 (Success)
Was not able to update on the 13th. My phone broke along with my photos and records in it.

Life goes on. Celebrating the last day of the challenge with healthy foods.

Throughout this two-week challenge, I have learned the importance of perseverance and self-care. I am now more mindful of my food choices and the quality of what I consume. As I reflect on this journey, I am excited to continue prioritizing my health and well-being.
