Friends, presentation is important.
Although we are accused of being superficial, the truth is that appearance is what makes us fall in love, and although we should not judge a book by its cover, it will be this that attracts us to it.
I was thinking about this when I was lovingly serving lunch today, taking care of every detail when plating. "Why decorate it?" my daughter and son-in-law asked me, laughing, to which I replied jokingly: "So I can charge more."
The truth is that a meal served in a careful manner speaks well of the person who cooks it, of the love and neatness in the process and of wanting to provide a whole experience to whoever will enjoy the food. That is why I am always trying to vary the menu, making it nutritious and at the same time having a beautiful presentation. That way we can enjoy a gratifying experience when eating at home.

Amigos, la presentación es importante.
Aunque nos tachen de superficiales la verdad es que la apariencia enamora y aunque no debemos juzgar un libro por su portada, sera esta la que nos atraiga hasta él.
Estaba pensando en esto cuando servía amorosamente el almuerzo de hoy, cuidando cada detalle al emplatar. "¿por qué decorarlo?" me preguntaron mi hija y mi yerno entre risas, a lo que respondí bromeando: "Así lo puedo cobrar más caro."
La verdad es que una comida servida de manera cuidada habla bien de quien la cocina, del amor y la pulcritud en el proceso y de que quiere brindar toda una experiencia a quien disfrutará de los alimentos. Por eso siempre estoy intentando variar el menu, hacerlo nutritivo y al mismo tiempo que tenga una hermosa presentación. Así podemos disfrutar de una gratificante experiencia a la hora de comer en casa.
