What a pleasure to be back in this splendid ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨:  to accompany my friend @ewkaw in his weekly invitation ¨FungiFridayContest¨:   I love this type of initiative. If you are passionate about nature, especially mushrooms, do not hesitate to participate.

It's amazing how the days go by. Once again we had to visit the property near our house to take photos of mushrooms for the contest. As usual, the reserve never disappoints, since we found this beautiful ¨repisa¨:  type mushroom: a type of fungus that grows on the surface of wood, branches or tree trunks; We found these at the base of a cut tree trunk on one of the many trails that this place has

The second species of fungus that we found is known as the Judas¨¨ ear¨ fungus:  it is very common to see them on the bark of ¨ceibo¨ trees, although on this occasion it was on a different trunk. These are edible, and are one of those mushrooms that are highly sought after since there are many recipes to prepare them, although I have to say that in the conditions in which We found them, I don't think anyone would want to take them home to make a meal out of them. It was a shame we didn't discover them last week, they would surely be in better condition

Of the three species of mushrooms that we found, I think this one is the most beautiful, and they were also very well preserved. It is a species of mushroom known as ¨Trametes¨ ¨versicolor¨:  I really like the size, its appearance, and the beautiful combination of colors. The truth is I'm not sure if they are edible, but when playing based on their texture I would reject it

Although you may find it hard to believe, this is the first time I've seen the ¨tail¨ of ¨turkey¨:  its reverse side, and the truth is that it caught my attention a lot, it looks like a sponge. It was great to find these three species of mushrooms, and interestingly all three grow on the surface of wood. I think everyone already knows that I always use the same camera, a beautiful Nikon Coolpix B500 that takes beautiful pictures.

You're welcome bro 🙏

It's a shame that when we found the ear mushrooms they were in poor condition. The other two mushrooms are beautiful.

Yes, I don't know how we hadn't seen those Judas ear mushrooms last week.
