Namaste!
Is it really a fungi or a little white flower?
Well, despite not being an expert on mushrooms, I still can say that this is a fungi which looks like a while little flower, so it can be called a baby flower of the mushroom family. 🍄💮😊
This is my contribution to #FungiFriday initiated by @ewkaw
Common mushrooms are still visible but I literally found them one evening during a mushroom hunting mission. In the beginning I had almost ignored them because they are smaller than one centimeter and a person standing straight cannot even see them in the grass. Also their small caps were visible from above. Thankfully at one place I saw one of them uprooted from the ground and then I saw its actual shape.
By the way, remember my last to last weeks Belly-Button Cap Fungi blog?
Aren't these also look like belly button mushrooms? Not the exact same because that mushroom was of a completely different color and shape, the only thing it had in common was that it also had a similar hole in its cap.
There were also some mushrooms nearby whose caps were quite flat and not wavy. I will say again that I have very little knowledge about mushrooms and just by looking at the different shapes and patterns of many mushrooms there, I have guessed that both the flat and wavy caps are the same type of mushrooms but in 2 different stages and conditions.
However, some mushrooms could not grow properly due to some obstruction nearby and became a little curvy on one side. But apart from such very few cases, I noticed that both flat and curved cap mushrooms were growing together and the way they were together with major to very minor changes, it seemed that they were all the same type of mushrooms.
As shown in the picture below, you can see both flat and fully curved caps in this flock.
It was a little bigger than the others and actually looked like a crisp wafer but in reality, quite the opposite, it was very delicate and soft.
Don't go by its size in the pictures, despite not having a professional camera, I have tried to take pictures of them as close as possible with my phone.
That's all for today's blog.
I hope you liked my Phone Photography! :)
