Oh no, don't get me wrong. I could be a fan of podcasts in the future when I find and connect with it and what any has to offer. I wrote in a comment that I've not had any experience with podcasts I can remember, that's because I haven't found a reason to explore any. Even the simple act of letting an audio play words and then I listen, I find it hard to do because I get distracted easily from them.
I think I've once tried to listen to a podcast here on Hive but I don't remember it working out fine, I got distracted from it even before it began. If you have any good podcast suggestion that you think would win over a fan, share with me in the comment section.
But as it stands, I'll listen to Anything Music.

I want to believe there are music podcasts too, well I don't know much about podcasts, you'll tell me. But if there are the music focused ones, I'm sure I'll find one or two interesting to spend my time on. I think everything we do today is result of what we do everyday before now, I wish I could do a lot of things that I'm not doing but I can't force it when I wasn't exposed to them before now.
From my childhood days, I've always had ears and heart for music and not just any kind of music, good ones. You'll hardly find me listening to a song that would have anyone questioning me or wondering why I listen to it. It only makes sense that music is my go-to instead of podcasts as I've lived most of my life listening to countless songs.
In my free time, just for the fun of it, for learning purposes and for vocal exercises, you'll see me exploring my music playlists. And below is a bit of my playlists that I frequent daily or weekly.

For me, any music has to have a few criteria to get on my playlists. I'm not a fan of Nigerian songs but I do listen to a few of them, I'm a huge fan for motivational, inspiring and love songs. These set of songs seem to have powerful melody and rhythm to me and I don't joke with those two features in music.
If a song has a good lyrics, sweet melody and lovely beat, it wins me over. I'm the kind that listens to a song once and can tell if I'll be listening to it years later to still feel excitement from it. If I don't get that feeling for a song at first and the second time, it never goes to my playlists.
I don't do this often anymore but before now, I'll categorize my music list into playlists and favourites for ease when I want to play them depending on my mood or situation at that time. Until I become a fan of podcasts maybe, I listen to more of music and I love it totally.
