Tuesday morning with coffee

Greetings!

Monday happened in such a way that before I could grab hold of myself, I saw it at sunset, and I couldn’t finish most of my daily tasks. However, I managed to complete the difficult ones, and from there, I made a plan to make full use of Tuesday. I slept a bit late on Monday night, trying to catch up with my online tasks, but I still couldn’t get them all done.

So, on Tuesday morning, the only thing that came to my mind was coffee to sponsor my activeness for the day. With the little sleep I got on Monday night, there was every tendency that drowsiness would set in very early.

I wanted to have my coffee as early as 7:00 a.m., but unfortunately, the shop close to my house wasn’t open yet. They usually open quite early, but the shop owner, a woman, gave birth four days ago, and she hasn’t been coming to the shop. Only her children come, usually around 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. Today, they opened exactly at 8:00 a.m. I went in and bought a sachet—the usual 3-in-1 sachet of Nescafé. I made warm water, mixed it in the mug, and stayed outside. Yes, I decided to do everything outside, and the sunrise was already high as if it were 10:00 a.m. That felt like a sign of a very bright day ahead.

I took a sip, still outside, until I decided to go in and finish the rest on my chair and table while scrolling and typing this article. I wanted it real and relatable, so I typed along as I was sipping; I don't usually stress my brain when taking coffee. Funny enough, I finished the whole cup while still typing. In fact, I hadn’t even typed 300 words before my cup was emptied. Well, that’s not bad—my body felt energized, and that’s what matters most to carry on with the day’s tasks.

Coffee should be termed "the real energy drink." I think it works far better than the energy drinks we have, especially when it comes to keeping the body active and chasing away any hint of drowsiness. Ever since I took it, and with my mind determined, I’ve been crushing tasks—from Telegram, to Hive, to X.

Even while writing this, my phone’s split mode was on, and I was doing two tasks at the same time. Normally, on a poor day, this multitasking would feel so tiring, causing some stress in my eyes and brain. But now, my body is handling it well.

Well, I hope I’ll be able to finish all my tasks and have a very fulfilling day. I also hope that, before my body weakens or drowsiness sets in, it will be far into the day—when I’ve finished everything I need to do. After all, in the long run, we never cheat nature.

Thanks for reading.

I agree, but I'll never get the concept of Instant Coffee, and I find it strange that Instant Coffee has such an impact on you.
