The standard of living in some of societies nowadays is too high like in developed countries they give respect/rights to civilians to an extent where other people or companies can't exploit you.
You know the rules and going against it can cost you fine. Not every country is developed so in the poor ones living standard is way too different.
We have issues like if some working class woman is pregnant and is going to give a birth to kid than she might not get a leave for more than two three days.
After three days they'll try to find a replacement..but if the company or wherever you're working have a good boss/owner than there's chances you won't lose that job.
They are already under staff or won't collaborate with workers
It's the lifestyle in underdeveloped countries where you will work but won't get that kind of rights and respect even though in situation like maternity cases you'll have to take leave for a week.
And for each day you were absent they'll definitely cut that from your paycheck.

Since the unemployment rate is high it's easy for them to find a replacement in absence of a worker who just had a baby - they don't care about that but work should be get done one way or another and since they're understaffed or something - they won't let you take more leaves but only if company is some worst one.
But for Father's, there's no place of leave
The only thing that's valid incase of father's when his wife is having a baby is that he can take leave to take care of everything and than a day or two at home.

That's enough, you as a man can't expect more than one or two days off because of baby.
After that moment you'll eventually have another reason to go to work, make most out of it - get promotion and increase in salary to give child a good lifestyle.
You become more responsible
Every person become responsible when he becomes a father so you as a more responsible person take quick actions.
There should be someone at house to take care of wife and if there's no one else other than you than obviously won't think of going to work even if they grant leave or not.
Child needs mother but mother needs support from family. So, in that case it makes a lot of sense to grant leave just to take care of the family.
Wrapping Up...
In the end this is my way of seeing things as a single guy who ain't married yet but have seen married people and the way they face these challenges so I just want to improvise and hope when it's my turn I'll be able to live upto her expectations at that moment.
For now I'd like to know your thoughts how do you see taking off from work in this situation. Feel free to share in the comments.
