I live in Venezuela, a country in America that is on the Tropic of Cancer, but my house is in a mountainous area, and we usually have quite a few wind currents.
In general, within a few kilometers of my house, there are quite a few hot areas in my country, plus the beaches tend to have warm or temperate waters. There are even capital cities in other areas of my country that have temperatures that frequently exceed 35º C.
I don't tolerate extreme climates well, so I like that my house often has cool weather almost all year round. But every Christmas, the temperatures drop, and that's what I was referring to in the post.
Luckily, the worst temperature here (at night) is something like 11 or 13, although I think that if I took the ambient thermometer outside the house, it would surely read a little lower. The house is old, with thick walls, but since it is the tropics, heating was never built in it.
Here the matter is solved with an additional blanket and some more warm clothes :)
Thanks for coming and commenting. I really wanted to eat some cookies to celebrate :)
