En esta zona del país, donde el calor es sofocante, la hora del almuerzo es a eso de las 12.00 del mediodía, por eso no me sorprende que no encontraras ningún local de comidas después de las 13.00 h; este horario es parte del descanso de la siesta. Los comercios han tratado de revertir esto extendiendo sus horarios de atención por mucho tiempo, pero está tan arraigado en las personas que ha sido imposible

La ciudad es realmente hermosa, y lo que me gusta es la mezcla de estilos modernos y antiguos de la arquitectura de los edificios

Qué preciosas son las plantas de irupé; ornamentan muy bien la fuente de la plaza

Qué delicioso luce ese almuerzo, un plato típico de la región.

In this part of the country, where the heat is stifling, lunchtime is around noon, so it's no surprise you didn't find any restaurants after 1:00 pm; this time is part of the siesta break. Businesses have tried to change this by extending their opening hours for a long time, but it's so ingrained in people's habits that it's been impossible.

The city is truly beautiful, and what I love is the mix of modern and old architectural styles.

The irupé plants are so lovely; they beautifully adorn the fountain in the square.

That lunch looks delicious, a typical dish of the region.
