When you are living in a tropical country where you keep asking "when is it gonna rain?" or "is it summer yet can't wait to go to the beach." Me I just wanna keep it simple whatever goes on my day I keep on doing things I like.
Hello there fellow hivers! I am back to share with you my simple wat to spend my hot sunny day. While others here in our country loves to go the beach and enjoy the sunny gesture of the place or maybe stay at home watch anime and play games. Me when I think of summer I think of just keeping it cool and simple. What I love to do is to go out take a deep breath of fresh air and stroll downtown to find food or drinks to try.
Early in the morning me and my partner start the day with a cute little meal for breakfast. Buying pre-cooked meals from the local Carinderia (Small Eatery/Restaurant) like Pinaksiw na Bangus (Milkfish with sweet soy sauce and vinegar) and A very common dish called Boiled Vegetables with shrimp and various fresh ingredrients (Laswa in local dialect). After having breakfast we of course done our daily routine of house chores and do some unfinished tasked we haven't done last night.
We spend most of our time hanging out while doing some extra task at school or work. Suddenly, we think of a bright idea since it's our day off why not we both go out and explore new spots to try. So I immediately pause what I am doing and begun to prepare with the excitement I feel around my chest I am happy whenever she goes because I know it will be fun. As we go along our way to downtown area we came across this small Miltea Cafe business at the corner of the intersection near the local market. It is our first time seeing this place so we tried to see what we can purchase since it is a very hot day. With the temperature ranging up to 40 degrees celcius it would be the perfect time to grab some drink before we get to our dinner place.
This spot is small but look at all it's selection of beverages there are milkteas, Fruit teas, Lemonades all kind of flavor bubblegum and lemon too. If you prefer coffee there is that option too. I wonder thinking about my own dream before of having a small cafe around the corner what if I will try pursuing it again.
After a moment of choosing what to buy me and partner ride a jeep going to the nearest mall to spend time beating the heat of the sun downtown. She choose to have Ice Coffee Caramel Macchiato while got this not too sweet Red Velvet Milktea. After arriving a few minutes to the mall we then go on and look around for a little while doing some window shopping before we had our dinner.
We selected Ribshack to have our wonderful dinner, this is one of our go to place for dinner because of their juicy and tasty meats. We commonly had our usuals ordering two spareribs with sides fo kimchi and pickled radish. We just had a portion of water since we drank sweets few moments ago. After a long day of travelling around downtown we spend our remaining time at the park talking about a lot of things we enjoyed our day and gone home.
When we got home I remembered the quote on that little cafe which say "Don't ruin a good today by thinking about a bad yesterday let it go." It struck my heart and make me wanna do my best more the upcoming days of my life not for myself but for every one I love too. Moral of the story "KEEP MOVING FORWARD."
