Can Money Really Buy Happiness?

in The Real Talk5 days ago

This question will always be a lifelong argument, but it’s something I’ve thought about plenty of times before today, and in my opinion, money can buy a piece of happiness but not completely.

Money Can’t Buy Happiness or Can It?

Happiness is deep. It’s a physical feeling attached to every living thing, and that’s why it’s difficult to say money can buy happiness. Let’s take a close look at other living things, many living things have been known to experience true happiness without having to make a transaction for it. You could argue that money is personalized to humans only and eliminate animals from this equation which doesn’t change the fact that happiness can exist without wealth.

How do you explain a happy dog jumping excitedly and wagging its tail at the mere sight of his owner? Or a peacock’s soft cooing? Don’t get me started with a cat purring loudly out of excitement and contentment. No treat in sight, just pure happiness. True happiness that isn’t transactional.

Well, I'll say Money is strange. It sparkles, the thought of it brings excitement, and it promises freedom, but eventually, you’ll realize that true happiness is deeper. True happiness could be sound sleep, self-confidence, achieving even the smallest things, true friendship, family, etc. These things can’t be bought with money.
Money can buy comfort, and comfort makes happiness easier to reach but most times this happiness can be temporary.

Today is a typical example of money not being able to buy happiness completely.
I felt a certain way all day. That feeling you can’t describe, nothing was wrong but I wasn’t happy. I went out, got all my comfort foods, ate them out of excitement and once I got home, guess what? I went straight back into the foul mood after devouring everything, poor me😂😂 money why? Why couldn’t you fix my mood completely? Why take me back to square one? Why? 😂 Give me back all my money this instant!

In conclusion, maybe money buys happiness up to a limit. Beyond that limit, happiness stops being about how much you have but instead about your passions and the people you truly love, those are priceless and ageless.

You get it.... 😂

Lol I do!

I agree with you
Money can buy happiness maybe to abit

Thank you.

Money can actually buy me happiness 😊 Money makes life livable and enjoyable!!

Awww that’s so nice🥰🥰

For real! After making me spend all that money I’m still not happy! Pleasee give me my money back, lol.

Recently, I found out something about myself that I hate to admit but it’s true. My happiness is tired to some people. The moment we have a problem or misunderstanding, it completely messes with my mood and no money can fix that except things just getting better.

!PIMP

Give me back all my money this instant!

Lol 😆.... I would have said you can't eat your cake and have it but then, you only ate half of the cake in this scenario 😂.

And yes, as much as money makes living comfortable, it doesn't necessarily guarantee true happiness. Just putting a smile on a sad face out there and bagging a little achievement already springs happiness.

Hehehehe spot on!!! I love money but c’mon it has some limitations.

Thanks for stopping by dearie.

Eggxactly 😅....... My pleasure 😊.
