He cerrado los ojos y entregado mi Ășltimo suspiro. La balanza encontrĂł el equilibrio.

I was walking along the power line, trying to keep my balance on the pole. I felt the electricity buzzing in my veins and the wind blowing in my ears. In addition, I smelled the smoke of the burning city and the blood of the wound in my chest. I tasted the bitterness of defeat and the sweetness of revenge.
â Boy, here comes the helicopter approaching and the sniper must already have me in his sights.
Me, I knew I didn't stand a chance, but I didn't care. I had done what I had to do and I was prepared to face the consequences. I had eliminated the man who had ruined my family's life and freed the people who had suffered under his tyranny. Not only that, but I had fulfilled my destiny and restored balance.
I remembered the day when everything changed, when the world was turned upside down. When the dictator took power and the coup d'Ă©tat took place. The memory of the day I lost all my family, friends and my home does not escape my mind. Today I am a rebel fighting for the ideals of the majority. I am considered a leader.
All those years of struggle, resistance and sacrifice. All those battles "lost and won". All those raids and missions. Many friends and traitors. Hanging from my neck is a line that runs through the end of the last knife, that knife whose broken blade was left in the dictator's body as unequivocal proof that it was I who liberated that martyred people.
â Here I am, hanging from an electrical wiring that serves as a balance. A seesaw that balances the good and bad of my actions.
I had used the knife to stab the dictator in the heart, after a fierce melee. Today, I use the scale to weigh my soul, after a brief exchange of words. I use the power line to flee the scene, after a daring act of faith, caught in the sniper's sights.
â The knife handle represents my anger, justice, and courage. The scales represent my balance, my judgement, âI doubt my wisdomââŠ.
I have reached the end of the line and I have nowhere to go. I heard the shot that caused me pain. Furthermore, I have fallen from the sky and hit the ground. I closed my eyes and took my last breath. The scales have found their balance.
