Money is Conceptual... and so is Debt

Does Money Have Real Value?

Yes. Money has real value. As long as people believe it does... it does.

Or maybe I should expound a bit.

Money is Conceptual

The word conceptual is derived from the word "concept" defined as:

noun: a general notion or idea; conception. an idea of something formed by mentally combining all its characteristics or particulars; a construct. Dictionary.com

Conceptual... Something formed by mentally combining particulars... a construct. A mental construct. Money is a mental construct.

This is why one person's mental construct of money can be different than another mental construct of money. One person could look at a price tag and say "Good price!" another could look at the same price tag and say "Whatta rip!"

One person can say "I'm worth this salary" another could say "You are worth much more then that." another could say "You value yourself too highly."

Money is conceptual.

Nothing More Valuable than BELIEF

Money is conceptual. It only has value in the heads of people... but that is what gives it real value. What's more valuable than belief? Money is backed by armies and mass psychosis, two very powerful forces in the world. Functional in a real economy, but destroyed when unbacked by any product or service. Unbacked money isn't money... it's debt.

I'm not saying that a debt to another person isn't real, it very much is real. If a persons collects on their debt, it should be paid in a satisfactory manner. Or forgiven.

But the fact that a person can change their mind and forgive a debt, means that the money debt is a mental construct. Once a debt is forgiven in the mind of the indebted, it's as if money was created, somehow paid the debt, and the debt vanishes. But there is catch, forgiven but not forgotten.

Debt Forgiveness

The kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their debts.

...from your hearts, forgive. Money is conceptual.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

Bank Bailout Special!

It's happening, folks. The banks are going under! To educate our children about what is going on, there is a "Bank Bailout Book Bonanza" going on with the Tuttle Twins! Use coupon code FORTY for 40% off your purchase! Check out the books here.

"Politicians like problems because they can claim to have solutions... but their solutions often create even more problems."

Personally, I don't loan out money to friends and family. I give it out and don't expect it back. I choose to forget about it because money isn't something worth destroying a relationship over. If I get the money back, great! If not, I still have the one thing with them money can't buy: time.

Hbe you ever watched 'Hidden Secrets of Money' by Mike Malony on youtube? It's a pretty cool series

I'm a Mike Maloney fan, I haven't seen the YT video, but I do own his (expensive) book "The Great Gold and Silver Rush of the 21st Century"

It's a free-to'watch 10 episodes series on his YT channel. Great series

Fascinating parable of the unforgiving servant becoming judged by his own wicked standards.

Something I think about often when calling in debts.

Of course, this is true, but in the last few years, we have seen that the value of money has decreased a lot in our country. or increased greatly.

Yes, things are getting difficult. Inflation is an invisible thief.
