RE: The real "Famine" is not yet here and we are already in mud.

Neglecting the agricultural sector in Nigeria is a very terrible mistake that the government are still blind to. We have good land, we have the resources but we are only concerned about hitting it big, sometimes even damaging good lands for achieve that goal. I wonder what we will do with the money if by the end of the day we lack food to buy.

There's truly scarcity in the supply of food in Nigeria, and I am beginning to feel it's part of the reasons why food is very expensive. Imagine if they still allow importation of foreign rice and we are also taking farming seriously in the country, rive would be in circulation and the competition will drastically reduce the price of ruce in the market. Our money might not have value, but we won't lack what to eat but funny enough, everyone wants to go for the admirative work, we see agriculture as poor man's occupation

You are correct. Agriculture is a sector that is being neglected and this has been the case for decades. Nigeria as a country is taking the Agricultural sector for granted and we are now in a situation where scarcity of food stuff in addition to other factors have led to the skyrocketing of prices of food items.

Just like you said, having a lot of rice in the market will systematically reset the balance in demand and supply. Then, the price of rice will subsequently go down to a fairly decent spot.

Exactly, I pray our eyes will open to this before it gets too late
