Have a nice day, everyone! I hope you are all doing great. It's me again, @annapelo, and welcome to my blog. I woke up early today. My son and I went to the market this morning, and he asked me to buy shrimp. Garlic Butter Shrimp is his favorite dish, and my daughter likes it too. Shrimp here in Minglanilla, Cebu is quiet expensive; it costs 400 per kilo. So, I decided to buy a half a kilo for the three of us.
Preparing to cook is easy. I think shrimp is one of the simplest dishes anyone can make. I have my own easy version of how to cook Garlic Butter Shrimp. But before that, we need to wash it properly.
After washing, I started to chop 20 cloves of garlic.., the more garlic, the merrier, hahaha!, and an onion. That's it. I also have some butter, Mama Sita's oyster sauce, and Knorr liquid seasoning.
After preparing all the ingredients, I heated a pan on medium heat and added some butter. Then, I added the onions and garlic, mixing everything together. My son suddenly came into the kitchen and asked if he could help stir the onions and garlic until they turned golden brown. His smile melted my heart; he was so happy to be part of cooking his favorite dish.
Next, I put all the shrimp in the pan. Once they turned orange, I added the oyster sauce, liquid seasoning, and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor. I let the shrimp cook for 15-20 minutes, allowing all the flavors to blend together. After that, it was ready to dig in.
A simple dish that fills your tummy.
Both my son and daughter were delighted with their meal. Seeing the smiles on their faces made me so happy.
Final thoughts:
Cooking with my son made the experience even more special. It's these moments that create lasting memories and make the meal extra enjoyable.
I hope you enjoyed my blog today. Have a wonderful day ahead, and thanks for visiting!
