Hello my dear Hivers!
Today, I’m going to share with you a moment I had with my friends while we were having lunch.
But before that, let me share this first.
These days, we were supposed to have no more classes since the 2nd semester has officially ended. However, it turns out that we still have a lot of topics left to cover, so our classes got extended. We were surprised, but not entirely, since we’ve experienced something like this before and as time goes by, we just get used to it.
As of now, I only have two subjects left that we haven't finished yet, and both are major subjects.
Now, going back to what happened earlier, during our morning class, we were already in the room but our instructor hadn't arrived yet. Another instructor of ours, from a minor subject, also reminded us that many of us still haven’t submitted our admission slips, especially me. That’s because our dean just recently signed our clearance slip.
Since most of us haven’t submitted our admission slips for finals, our instructor messaged us this morning saying that today is the final deadline. If we fail to submit it, our grade status will be marked as “INC” (Incomplete). At that time, I wasn't thinking so much about my admission slip as I was thinking about our exams.
My test ended at around 11:40 AM and I rushed for clearance processing right after that to get my admission slip. Thankfully, I made it on time and submitted it without being late. And of course, all my friends also submitted their admission slips on time!
After submitting our slips, we all met up and started deciding where to have lunch. Just like the previous instances, the consideration for a lunch stop became so complicated that I suggested to them that we should have lunch at Bradex considering their familiarity there since we were there previously.
There were not many clients, really, when we got there. From the distance, I thought the restaurant was closed but as we looked closed we could see a few guests inside. I was just relieved that we wouldn't have to sit and wait for a table turnaround.
Another thing that makes this place great is all the tables and chairs available and are provided there. It is extremely clean, not very hot, and it has a nice, refreshing atmosphere outside. There is also a menu for food items displayed outside that is convenient.
So, I searched for an empty table quite hurriedly and put my bag on it. I often wait for my friends before they finally arrive at a restaurant, and I immediately get to find a table for us. I usually ask them if they are okay with the place.
After a while, I went to the counter and another friend of mine said we should just transfer to a different table since there are more chairs on the other side. I nodded and agreed.
That's it for today's blog, my dear hivers!
