Hello everyone!
In my city, it's not every day we get to see public electricity. We had power all through the night until this morning (Saturday morning), which got me all woke up to attend to some laundry work (ironing clothes). Although I slept a little during the night, I woke up again to attend to the pending tasks. I continued until 9:20 AM when the electricity was cut off.
After that, I became so hungry as if I hadn't eaten last night. I didn't have any food at home, so I decided to visit the "small market," as we fondly call it, near my street to buy food items for cooking. I'm a good cook, and I didn’t just like the idea of going for cooked food at a restaurant. Besides, cooking at home would reduce costs, especially since the food would last longer.
I got the items, mainly fish and the main ingredients for the soup I planned to prepare, as I already had other basic cooking ingredients at home.
I'm not just a good cook; I'm a fast cook too. I won’t lie—I didn’t spend up to 30 minutes in the kitchen before I started eating. Yes, the cooking was very fast, and I'm sure it was the hunger dealing with my system that powered the speedy cooking. Hey, the food came out very well, so it’s not like it was half-done. Lol.
Due to hunger, I ate the food speedily as well, and before I knew it, my stomach was full, and I started finding it difficult to get up from the seat. After eating, still seated on the chair, regaining my strength to get up, I heard a call from my workspace, and I didn't even know how I got up and rushed there. That’s how I entered a marathon duty session until it lasted till evening, although there were some little breaks along the way.
That’s how I spent my day. How did yours go?
Thanks for reading.
