Some days will give you a refreshing feeling that will continue throughout the day.
It can come in many forms, yet it's always God's way of restoring you.
These are the simple moments of our day.
The little joys that are worth remembering.

Wrapped In Fog

At exactly 7 a.m., the world was still wrapped in fog. It's the thick, visible kind that instantly refreshes my soul. 😍 I always love waking up in the mornings like this as it looks like a painting in a quiet moment. 🍃 So refreshing. 🌬️

Ibos

That same morning, my mother-in-law gave us ibos, a native rice cake made of glutinous rice wrapped in young coconut leaves. It tastes plain, so it's always best to dip it in sugar. In that way, it becomes perfectly satisfying.

Tinola For A Sick Child

By lunchtime, I asked my hubby to cook tinola, as our son, Ryzen, had a fever. A warm bowl of soup is always comforting in times like this. And just as I hoped, he ate a lot, especially the sayote.

Planting Peanuts

In the afternoon, my hubby thought of planting peanuts on the side of our house. We bought some of it from the market to cook, but of course, why not try to grow them too? So yeah. That's what my hubby does. And who knows, maybe one day, we won't need to buy peanuts anymore. 🤞🏼😅 We'll harvest on our own. ☺️

And that's it!
At the end of the day, I realized how this refreshed me in many ways I didn't expect.
And if this is what ordinary days can bring, then I am grateful for that. 🤗💖
Until my next everyday snapshots...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
