Greetings everyone!
My mom and I had a busy yet fulfilling day. So to conclude our afternoon, we decided to visit a nearby restaurant. It was called Thanis Garden Cafe. It is a recommended restaurant located in Cabibihan, Caibiran, Biliran.
I have been intrigued by this cafe for too long. It has existed since 2020 and yet this is the first time I will get to try going inside and dining in. It's just a 20 minute ride from home, an hour ride from Naval town and just alongside the national road. I only get to see its front view whenever I pass by going to town. I just get to see the pictures on how it looks inside from my friends posts who got to visit the place. Today, I came with my mom and brother. They are here for the second time while it is the first for me.
Usually, the place is filled with people. I would know just by looking at the vehicles parked at the front of the cafe. It is far from residential areas, so people would just especially come to dine in through their private transportation. Today, we came riding our motorbike. I am glad because there are just few people when we came.
As soon as we arrived, I took videos and photos of its every nook. There is a lot to see even from the outside where you could also dine. Every angle of the place gives a different ambiance. I really enjoyed the murals or the paintings on the wall including their hanged qoutations. There are plants in every corner which makes the place relaxing. As soon as we get in, the lobby and the front desk gives off a cozy feeling. I was worried that the food prices are too expensive but the food are actually worth the price. We tried their best seller lomi soup. We also ordered Hawaian pizza and a platter of Siomai.
There is a lot of food and drinks to try as they serve meals, snacks, coffee and beverages. They are open from 9 in the morning until 9 in the evening.
While waiting for our order, I continued taking photos and videos in and out that my phone almost got full. Finally our order arrived and I was so happy that their lomi is fully loaded with eggs on top. It tasted delicious paired with pizza. We decided to bring home some of our left over lomi for my other brother and father to taste.
As we were leaving, two vans full of passengers arrived. It was a perfect timing that we are done eating already and I felt peace while enjoying my food. It seemed like it is going to rain too so we hurried home. I felt so full that I no longer took dinner and went to sleep as soon as we got home. It was a nice experience dining at Thanis Garden cafe and I really hope to be back.
