A press conference was held yesterday, Friday, for a gastronomic event taking place this weekend in the city of Barquisimeto. Nine chefs will present their culinary creations throughout the day, all in the distinctive style of Carora.
Carora is a town located in a neighboring municipality of the city. It is part of the state of Lara and is known for its rich local cuisine. The best thing about this event, which will be held on Sunday, March 15, is that it focuses on local gastronomy, which enjoys great popularity. Thus, the residents of Barquisimeto will have this delicious option for spending a pleasant day, whether with a partner or with family.
Ayer viernes se celebró una rueda de prensa para un evento gastronómico que tendrá lugar este fin de semana en la ciudad de Barquisimeto. Nueve chefs presentarán sus creaciones culinarias a lo largo del día, todas con el estilo característico de Carora.
Carora es una localidad situada en un municipio vecino a la ciudad. Forma parte del estado de Lara y es conocida por su rica gastronomía local. Lo mejor de este evento, que se celebrará el domingo 15 de marzo, es que se centra en la gastronomía local, que goza de gran popularidad. Así, los habitantes de Barquisimeto tendrán esta deliciosa opción para pasar un día agradable, ya sea en pareja o en familia.
The press conference was held on the terrace of the Biotel Suites. This hotel is located opposite the Obelisk. I hadn't been to the terrace before, so I took the opportunity to explore it. It's used for renting out spaces for events, parties, and so on. I'm sure they also rent it out for weddings. It has spectacular views, which was what I liked most. I was able to go up and take several photos of the scenery, but I'm only going to include one in this post. Perhaps I'll post the rest of the photos another time.
The press conference was scheduled for six in the evening, and while we waited for more media representatives to arrive, we enjoyed some refreshments that were offered to them.
La rueda de prensa se celebró en la terraza del Biotel Suites. Este hotel está situado frente al Obelisco. No conocía la terraza, así que aproveché para explorarla. Se utiliza para alquilar eventos, fiestas, etc. Seguro que también la alquilan para bodas. Tiene unas vistas espectaculares, que fue lo que más me gustó. Pude subir y sacar varias fotos del paisaje, pero solo voy a incluir una en esta publicación. Quizás publique las demás fotos en otra ocasión.
La rueda de prensa estaba programada para las seis de la tarde, y mientras esperábamos a que llegaran más representantes de los medios, disfrutamos de unos aperitivos que les ofrecieron.
The organizers discussed Sunday's activities, explaining the dishes each chef will be offering and introducing the other Carora-based chefs who will be arriving on Saturday. They also announced live music and other attractions for attendees.
An important detail was the price, which they indicated will range from $11 to $15. The event will take place at Brutal restaurant, located in the eastern part of the city. For those with the budget who want to enjoy Carora's cuisine, it's an excellent option.
Los organizadores hablaron sobre las actividades del domingo, explicando los platillos que ofrecerá cada chef y presentando a los demás chefs residentes de Carora que llegarán el sábado. También anunciaron que habrá música en vivo y otras atracciones para los asistentes.
Un detalle importante fue el precio, que indicaron que oscilará entre $11 y $15. El evento se llevará a cabo en el restaurante Brutal, ubicado en la zona este de la ciudad. Para quienes cuenten con el presupuesto y deseen disfrutar de la gastronomía de Carora, es una excelente opción.
