Today, I stumbled upon something that truly caught both my eye and my taste buds here in Tumana, Marikina, Philippines—a place called Bazar Pizza.
For the longest time, I would simply walk past this establishment without giving it a second thought. It never really drew my attention—until today. Caught in a sudden downpour, I noticed something unusual: a long line of people braving the rain, patiently waiting outside the shop. That alone was enough to pique my curiosity.
I decided to take a closer look to see what could possibly warrant such dedication, and to my surprise, it wasn’t just pizza. They were serving Roasted Chicken,
an Authentic roasted chicken from Bangladesh is typically prepared in a distinct style influenced by Mughlai and South Asian culinary traditions. It’s often marinated with a rich blend of spices and yogurt, then either roasted whole or in parts over open flame, in a tandoor, or baked.
with Biryani—an authentic whole roasted chicken paired with warm pita bread and a generous serving of biryani rice. The aroma was unmistakable, rich with spices and slow-roasted flavor.
Tucked away in a modest corner, this humble spot may not catch your eye at first glance—but don’t be fooled. This is where culinary magic begins, where the aroma of spices and the warmth of freshly prepared food turn an ordinary setting into something unforgettable.
It made me question why I hadn’t noticed this gem before. Sometimes, it takes a storm to uncover something extraordinary.
