Hotel Via Appia, Tagaytay!

in Hive PH3 days ago (edited)

Hi Hive friends! I am not yet done with reporting about my journey in Tagaytay: let me share about my 4-day stay at Via Appia hotel!

My impressions of the Hotel

I'm happy to share my feedback about Via Appia - the staff were so nice and friendly, and the place was wonderfully peaceful. Look at this amazing view! Every night they set up a special romantic dinner for couples (so sweet!). Of course, I was alone, but I imagined maybe someday I'll return with my special someone. Haha!!! Just dreaming!

There is a little Chapel!

Beside the hotel, there's a charming little chapel for prayers. They hold mass once a month (I asked about the schedule but forgot the exact day - oops!).

Eating in Via Appia

The food was great, too! I ordered sinigang... lol, couldn't finish it because the portion looked like it was for six people! They serve delicious Filipino dishes but don't have single servings, so I had to order a meal good for three. Good thing a friend came over to eat with me, so I wasn't alone for dinner on my first night. I enjoyed every service until the day I left - hope to visit again soon!

They also have really good ice cream!

My last Meal in Tagaytay

Oh! Here's my last meal in Tagaytay on my final day. The restaurant, Classic Savory, looked great, but I was a bit disappointed with my order - way more rice than meat! Hehe... But it was still good.

Our Lady of Lourdes Church

Last but not least, I visited the "Our Lady of Lourdes Parish" church to light a candle. There happened to be a wedding ceremony going on - and as usual, Gen was dreaming again... Breathe in, breathe out... Hehe...

That's the end of my story! More adventures coming soon! 🌿 ✨

Hello @gen-quimba! It's been a while. Good to see the place you had been to in your vacation. And the food, undeniably makes me drooling 😅😅. Keep yourself safe friend. Godbless!

Welcome back after quite some time, @nicolebanilad! 😘
Yes, that hotel was recommended by a friend and it turned out to be a nice place to stay. Food was good and Tagaytay is really worth a visit.

Happy to be back here @gen-quimba and engaging with you. Blessed Sunday to you!😇

That was a lot of food... You're right!

I love the last picture especially. The little shrine set up outside Our Lady of Lourdes church.

It's a lovely blog, @gen-quimba. You look very happy.

Thank you so much, @agmoore! Yes, it was very nice to spend time in Tagaytay and really made me happy!

I found the first two photos a Northern Italy features. I have seen some buildings and ruins in some books. I love the photos but what highlighted your blog is your subtle wish for getting married. I found it whimsical and beautiful. May you find him soon❤️

Thank you for stopping by, @whosee!
Yes, Via Appia has an Italian style, you can also order Italian food there.
