Hey, Hivers! What's up? How have you been? It's me, @makiyumee and today I am back again with another blog! It is almost Christmas and this blog will be about how my family and I bonded along with my cousins at Bogo Plaza. Why there? Because it's where the fun and magic begins! Bibo and Pasko sa Bogo!

We had just finished eating our dinner that night and my cousins decided that we should take a stroll around Bogo Plaza since they were all dying to see the lights and the other spectacles that were in there. So along with their parents and mine, we took a stroll around the place and I couldn't help but admire what the organizers and the people in charge of the designs did with the whole place.

The moment I took a step inside the place, I was immediately greeted by the magical beauty of the plaza's gigantic fountain. It was spraying waters and the lights were dancing along with the droplets of waters that were falling. I couldn't help but admire the view before me and so did my cousins. I remember how that old fountain just stood there without life before but now it was twinkling with light and full of life, bringing magic along with the Christmas lights.

The next area in the plaza that my cousins and I visited was the place near the museum where huge backdrops of houses stood and lights flashing and outlining the backdrops made the place looked like a street that could only be found in history books. There were well-made lampposts as well that helped lit up the whole place.

The whole area looked so vintage in my eyes. My cousins and I immediately searched for a good place to take a photo. After searching, we finally found a good place and so we arranged ourselves before the camera and then smiled as the flash of my cellphone lit up before our eyes. We smiled and time seem to stop and freeze as we looked at the captured moment that was saved on my cellphone.

My cousins live far from the city so we only see each other sometimes. While I was looking at our picture, I couldn't help but smile while admiring the captured moment. This was going to be one of my cherished memories with them. They all looked so happy and their eyes were lighting up just like the Christmas lights around us. I was so happy that I was spending some time with them that moment because bonding with the whole family is such a priceless moment that cannot be bought with money.

I took a look around the place and surely there were also families taking photos together along with the whole place. There were familiar faces and unfamiliar ones which I know those strangers came from their work in the city and they just got home to spend time with their family for Christmas.

We took more photos around until we arrived at the place in the plaza where they call it 'Candy Land' and sure it really was a candy land straight out from a fantasy movie or story. The designers really did a good job in making the designs because there were a lot of candies and candy houses around the place. There were even familiar faces of Disney characters which made the kids happy and jolly while running around.

My young cousins, niece and nephew ran around the place with huge smiles on their faces. I even chased them and played with them as we took a look around the whole place together. The children would hide behind the candy canes or the candy houses. I really appreciate how the people who made those designs because they really did their best in making their works come to life.

We took more photos together along with their parents and my parents as the night went on but when my sister told my mother that she was feeling hungry and that all her dinner had been digested down. So we all decided to try out some foods at the night market which was just outside the plaza. Tents were lined up beside the plaza's fence and these tents were stalls that sell foods, toys, clothes, and many more.

My sister said she was craving for some burger so she tried this stall that sells burgers. She ordered their combo meal and another order which was a Hawaiian burger if my memory serves me correctly haha. We waited for my sister's orders while my cousins strolled through the streets while looking at each stalls menu. They were still looking for what they were going to eat for their snacks.

It was until they decided to just get some medium-sized popcorns and also a regular burger for themselves. When we got our orders, we ate at the tables in front of the stalls. As the night got deeper, it was finally time to say our goodbyes to each other. My mother bid her goodbyes and see you soon to her younger siblings and their family. My sister and I also bid our farewells to our cousins as we watched them walk back to their private vehicles.

When they left the parking lot, we also decided to head home since it was already almost midnight that time and my mother was worried that we might miss the bus going home. So we walked towards the waiting area where the bus usually passes and soon our bus arrived. We boarded the bus while feeling satisfied and fulfilled of that night's bonding and food tasting. It may be simple for others but for me it held a very deep meaning inside my heart and my memories.

That would be all for today's blog! I hope you all had fun reading it. Merry Christmas, Hivers! I will see you all on my next blog.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!.gif

Glad to see how lively it is now in Bogo. You won't think that months ago, it was ravaged by an earthquake followed by a typhoon.
