Hello! I’m so happy you’re that you're here.

I wanted to start this blog that feels a bit like opening the door to my home and inviting you in for a cup of coffee — a place to share stories, reflections, lessons, and maybe a few laughs along the way. There’s no “perfect” moment to start. at anything, right? The perfect time is simply now.

So, this is me showing up, very excited, ready to write, connect, and share the pieces of life that make me who I am.

My name is Cherry, and I live in Bogo City Cebu, but was raised and originally from Mandaue City, Cebu. I started to move here in Bogo City Cebu, to continue my studies and since it is more convenient for me and for the whole family. Growing up as an only child is fun, not until the attention of the family is all on you. Kidding aside, I used to get what I need as grow up that's how my mom and dad loves me. We may not be rich in money, but we are rich in love and laughter in our own little ways.

I have so much love for dogs I don't know why, maybe because they're just so cute and smart as well. I have one in Mandaue the one in the left picture and guess what, he has a unique name, Rubos. He is so smart and lovely, whenever I wake up he wakes up as well. And, when it's time for me to sleep he will accompany me in everything that I do. I just love him he is my forever baby. I can't wait to hug and give my baby dog warm kisses again. But, for now I'll be focusing on my studies here first and will just visit my parents and dog so soon! The one in the right photo is a picture of a dog from the Busay, Cebu.

If you will ever ask me to describe myself in one sentence, I’d probably say I’m a mix of curiosity, creativity, and quiet determination.

I’m someone who’s constantly evolving, learning, unlearning, unpacking things and trying to make sense of this beautifully messy thing called life. I used to be an introvert person, one who can't even make small conversations because of shyness, but as I grew up I realized that it is very important to surround yourself with people, make interactions, meaningful conversations because every conversation you initiate you will always learn something new.

I started to love reading as well as writing since I figure out that journaling is as important as breathing air, since 2023 whenever I feel overwhelmed I always make sure to express my emotions and feelings through journaling, not just as a way to express myself, but as a way to understand the me and the world around me. And I can say that it really helped me every time, because it makes everything lighter after journal my feelings and emotions at that time.

Like most people, my journey hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve stumbled, started over, and learned that it’s okay to not have everything figured out. I’ve learned that growth often hides in the most unexpected places in quiet mornings, difficult goodbyes, new adventures, and moments when you finally choose yourself.
I created this blog as a space to be real. Life online can often look perfect filtered, polished, and curated to appear effortless. But that’s not real life, is it? I wanted to build a space that feels human. A space where I can talk about the messy middle, the small victories, the hard lessons, and the everyday beauty that we sometimes overlook.
Here, I’ll share personal reflections, stories from my life, and the lessons I’ve picked up along the way. I'll be sharing my trips to the places I've been to and since I am a food lover you'll those here too.
Some posts might be deep and introspective, others lighthearted and spontaneous. My goal isn’t to present a picture-perfect life but to share an honest one.

If there’s a theme that runs through my life, it’s connection. I value genuine conversations, quiet moments of understanding, and relationships that make you feel seen. I love hearing people’s stories, where they’ve been, what they’ve learned, what keeps them going. There’s something so comforting in realizing that, even though our paths look different, we’re all trying to find meaning in our own way.

And finally, I started to be more creative, not just in art or writing, but in the way we live. Creativity, to me, is about finding new ways to see the world, to tell stories, to solve problems, and to make the ordinary a little more beautiful. But, this one will more personal, a little door to my life.

Outside of writing, I’m someone who finds joy in the simple things slow mornings, the smell of coffee, walks at sunset, beautiful view. I love reading books that make me think, listening to music that makes me feel, and exploring new places that make me see life differently.
I’m not always the most adventurous person, but I love the small adventures trying out a new place to eat, just spending time with people I love. I love taking pictures of the beautiful views and meeting new people, that makes my heart so so happy!

Life isn’t always picture-perfect, and I have my off days too moments of doubt, overwhelm, or uncertainty. But I’ve come to appreciate those moments because they make the good days even brighter. This blog is a reflection of all of that — the light and the shadow, the clarity and the confusion.
This blog will be a mix of personal reflections, lifestyle musings, and honest storytelling. Some posts will be about self-growth and mental well-being, others about creativity, routines, or simple everyday moments that make life special.
Think of it as a journal I’m sharing with you l, a place where we can learn, grow, and connect. I hope that when you read these posts, you’ll find something that resonates with you, whether it’s comfort, inspiration, or simply the reminder that you’re not alone in whatever you’re going through.

As I start this new chapter, I don’t have everything planned out and honestly, that’s the best part. I’m allowing this blog to grow organically, to evolve as I do. I don’t know where it will go, but I know I want it to be real, meaningful, and true to who I am.
If you decide to follow along, thank you. Whether you’ve stumbled here by accident or came intentionally, I’m grateful you’re here. I hope this space becomes a cozy corner where you feel inspired to reflect on your own story, chase your curiosity, and embrace the beautiful imperfection of your journey.

Before I end this Intro blog. I just want to thank those people who have helped me to explore new beginnings, just like this blog. Also, to our mentor @intoy.bugoy who was patient enough and very passionate in sharing his knowledge about Hive website. I am so excited to write the story of my life!
Here’s to new beginnings, honest words, and the courage to share our stories one post at a time.
