Delicious Watermelon, Strawberry and Yogurt Smoothie [ENG - ESP]

I always have a drink before breakfast that's good for my body. Today I decided on a smoothie that I love because of the combination of fruits: strawberries and watermelon. They're always a winning combination, and adding yogurt makes it even more complete thanks to the protein it provides.

I rarely make watermelon juice because I love eating the whole fruit, but when I do use it in drinks, I usually don't add water or sugar. Watermelon is a fruit that's high in water and usually very sweet, so this smoothie doesn't have any added sweetener, which I think is great! 👌

  • Siempre acostumbro antes de desayunar, tomar una bebida que aporte bienestar a mi cuerpo, el día de hoy me decidí por un batido que me encanta por las frutas que he combinado, Fresa y Patilla, siempre serán un acierto, y si le agregas Yogurt la hace más completa por la proteína que este aporta.

  • ¡Pocas veces hago jugo de patilla porque me gusta mucho comer esta fruta entera, pero cuando la uso en bebidas, mayormente no suelo agregar agua, ni azúcar, pues la patilla es una fruta que es rica en agua y normalmente suele ser muy dulce, por lo tanto, este batido no lleva ningún endulzante extra, eso me parece genial! 👌

Ingredients:

-650 grams of watermelon (seedless).
-10 strawberries.
-5 tablespoons of unsweetened Greek yogurt.
-2 teaspoons of freshly ground chia seeds.

  • Ingredientes:

  • -650 gramos de patilla o sandía, esta debe estar sin semillas.
  • -10 Fresas.
  • -5 cucharadas de Yogurt griego sin azúcar.
  • -2 Cucharaditas de Semillas de Chía recién molidas.

Let's get started:

Before you begin making the smoothie, remember to thoroughly disinfect the fruit. In this case, the strawberries should be well washed and disinfected.

  • Vamos con la preparación:

  • Antes de empezar a hacer el batido, recuerda desinfectar muy bien las frutas, en este caso las Fresas deben estar bien lavadas y desinfectadas.

We start by putting the watermelon in the blender and blending it very well. I don't add water, but you can add a little if you wish.

  • Comenzamos echando la patilla en el vaso de la licuadora y la llevamos a licuar muy bien, yo no agrego agua, pero si deseas puedes añadirle un poco.

Now we're going to add the strawberries to this smoothie. If they're very big, we'll chop them up so our blender can do its job better and suffer less.

  • Ahora a este licuado le vamos a agregar las fresas, si estas están muy grandes las picamos para que nuestra licuadora haga mejor su trabajo y sufra menos.

We add the yogurt and the chia seeds.

  • Añadimos el yogurt y las semillas de Chia.

Blend again and that's it, all that's left is to serve!
