Wishing you all a great start to the new week with wellness as we drink something healthy at all times. And todayโs recipe is one that we will all love ๐ because its a healthy tea ๐ต
This very recipe is one that is fresh and healthier , an alternative to the packaged and canned ice teas , made with fresh mint, lime and black tea , most of all chili ๐ถ powder that gave it some spiced touch.
I was inspired to make this tea because of an iced tea I drank over the weekend while shopping. In fact Saturday was very hot and I wondered why the rain โ๏ธ has not set in when April is here and we expect spring ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ผ in full.
And looking for what to drink to chill a bit while shopping ๐, I was attracted to this Iced Tea in one of the Chillers in the supermarket which I went for and really enjoyed it. Then I thought ๐ญ how good it is to really make a homemade Iced tea once I have the ingredients .
And honestly I always have lime because its one ingredient we need at home all the time, so I made sure to purchase fresh mint leave ๐to make this tea and share with you guys. This tea ๐ต however is not just an ordinary tea but one recipe you will enjoy on a hot day because its pretty chilling ๐, and can as well enjoy it on a cold day if you prepare it hot for the rain โ๏ธ. The most being that its so healthy for our system because of the ingredients combination .
Here I share the step by step of this healthy tea ๐ต recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
1 bag of black tea
Fresh mint leaves (Couple)
2 medium lime balls
1/2 teaspoon of chili pepper
3 glasses of spring water
2 tablespoons of premium sugar
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
I will make this recipe by first washing and cutting the lime, removing the seed..

Step 2
The mint leaves ๐ I will pluck, then slice it including the stem.
Here will wash it and drain to keep readily

Step 3.
To infuse the tea ๐ต, I will take a bag of black tea into the pot, adding the appropriate water quantity
Set it on the cooker, covering to start boiling.
Step 4.m
Once it start to infuse I will add the lime, then the chopped mint leavers and chili powder

Step 5.
Allow to incorporate and infuse properly for another one minute and set it down.
Once it cools , I will pour it into a bowl allowing it to settle.
Then will sieve serve it gradually here .
And take it into the refrigerator to chill to taste since I did not add ice, avoiding extra water into the tea ๐ต .
This drink is practically a summer drink due to how we needed to chill it to enjoy the heat and hot weather, but we can also enjoy it during spring ๐ฟ๐ธ due to cold and the spice tells it all. Make you homemade iced tea and enjoy.
