There was more for us to see at Chessington Zoo. So off we went again to Chessington World of Adventures, which during the winter season is mostly closed and only the zoo and some amusements are available.

Scattered around the park, there are various animal models. I'm not sure what they are made of, but they look great in a single shade of green.
It's all part of the image. And it looks great! We will be back again in the spring when the rides are open again. I'm dying to have another go on the Vampire roller coaster. Spring won't be long. It felt a little like spring today with temperatures at about 13°C.
We did see some real animals as well, of course, including the gorillas, but I couldn't get near enough with a clear view to take a picture. There were so many people around the enclosures.
I did take a nice picture of the old building near the entrance. I remember this building from my childhood when we came here in the 1960's.
The mansion has a long history. Originally built in 1348. Nicknamed the Old Stub after it was razed in the English Civil War. It is now used for events in the spring and summer months when the main park is open.
And of course, we must not forget something, when around these animals , especially if we have been touching them....
