The flower beds are looking bleak here. There are some signs of spring here and there, but if you look really closely at the bushes and shrubs, there are loads of examples of fresh growth. Some buds are opening, and there are new shoots breaking the surface, too.
Here in the South of England, we are having a period of very chilly but dry weather. There is lots of sunshine in the day and hard frosts at night. We just need a little more warmth, and then we can celebrate true spring at last! 😁
I think tomorrow would be a perfect chance for another cycle ride on the drying forest tracks! 😛
