The day after Thanksgiving…….
Yesterday was a lovely time of family, fellowship and good food! There were lots of lively conversations going on in multiple areas, and the kids I mentioned yesterday? Well, it turns out they aren’t so little anymore! It’s been some years since we last saw them and they were much younger then. Time kind of stands still when relating memories to reality, lol! 😏
The two who are the subject of this photo is our son Michael and his wife Christine.
This next one is Christine’s mom.
Christine’s sister brought her husband’s parents. We both enjoyed a very lively conversation with them. Vince is 92 years old and is a wonderful conversationalist! His wife Iva, a few years younger than him, travels a lot visiting family and always has a story. Here’s Vince.
Christine’s aunt and uncle were there as well. On the couch, left to right is Iva (Vince’s wife, Christine’s mom’s husband, her niece and her sister.
There was so much food!! We ended up taking a whole pumpkin pie home and a couple of pieces of what they call a Hobo chocolate loaf cake. I’ll be freezing some of that as I plan for when I can have goodies! Here was my dinner although I never had the roll-I gave that to @silvertop!
It was very enjoyable!
I did have work today and it pretty much went okay. My gal was only 20 minutes late to work today! 😏 I did have a patient who picked up glasses he owed money on from December of 2023-yes, LAST YEAR! Then an hour later he’s back saying they don’t work! Did I mention he’s diabetic? His eyes probably changed although an hour isn’t really long enough to determine whether they’re good or not. He was not pleasant to deal with!🙄
That’s gonna be it for today. Tomorrow begins my Christmas shopping expedition. Yee-haw! 🤠
