I was able to get to work this morning about 10 minutes prior to my norm. I was expecting to be on a phone call with the credit card processing people around 8:45 AM. I figured the call might last upwards of an hour and I had lots that needed accomplishing prior to opening. I did get quite a bit done and the appointed time arrived with no phone call. Hmmm….🧐 Instead of just waiting, I moved on to other tasks. It was a good thing that I did. I emailed the guy around 9:30 to let him know that I could not be on the phone after opening as I was by myself until much later and would need to be able to help my patients. No response. Hmm…🤔 Odd.
It was time to open. Nobody came in and the phone barely rang. This is good! 😁 Finally some time to work on some things. My coworker was late again-almost an hour and a half beyond when she had originally said she’d be in. 🙃
The credit card guy emailed me midafternoon to say he’d gotten stuck in a major traffic jam which was why he’d not made the call. Now he wants to do it tomorrow. He will have 30 minutes and then I’ll have to go, so we’ll see if he can fix the tech issues AND get us what we want. Somehow, I’m thinking not!
The day was very productive for me. Now if I could have a few more just like it-that would be awesome! Probably not gonna happen, lol! 🙃
