The seasonal depression almost had its grips on me but I prevailed. I got carried away and spent half a day watching Death Note. Sucks, but it happens. I'm in this really grindy part of the project where I have to write different branches on how this action scene will end, and I am definitely not a big fan, but I know if I finish it, I can go to the next chapter, which is something I'm really looking forward to. Then my word count will be really high from then on out.
I also ran 16 minutes. Had to take it slow because I hadn't done it in a while, more of a brisk jog than a run—frustrating, but it happens.
I've been able to happily cut without monitoring my calorie intake just to see what would happen if I mindfully ate based off of the time I ate and the portions I ate. And I've already dropped 2 lbs since last week.
I've officially started working on my grant essay last night and even fell asleep writing, so hopefully my reward after work will be to work on it tomorrow on top of working on my business plan to finish my round of meetings with my consultant.
