Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started a little earlier than most Saturdays. Partly because I wanted to confirm a good start in #Macfit Olympics, but also because I'm trying to get back into a slightly more normal schedule. But after a few things I took care in the house and the yard, the activities weren't too different from our routine day. Of course, it included plenty of breaks in the yard. It seems Kaia also needed more sleep, lots of big yawns!
But she's still a very good guard dog, any noise or movement, she's on top of it!
We then started our daily walk to the forest. We stopped behind the front yard first, hoping to see Le Chat, but no luck.
On our way to the forest, we did see a cute squirrel though. Well several, but only one that let me snap a decent photo.
It was a fairly hot afternoon, even in the forest shade, and that usually means lots of mosquitoes. They were once again relentless!
It's good to see Kaia acting more like her usual self, chasing anything and everything, real or imaginary.
But like I already said, no need to overdo it. And to be fair, I was also struggling with these mosquitoes. So we chose the short trail again.
A quick stop at the end of the street for a Cubiverse vault, and to check the construction progress.
A couple loops in the neighborhood.
And that was it for our walk. I still had plenty of time for a run before nightfall. Once again, a little over 5 miles. But it was tougher than last time, I did walk a bit. I need to get used to that heat. To round up an active day, we added again some running around the yard late at night. That's always a good way to add a few more steps before calling it a day.
By the way, still no news of Le Chat at the end of the day. Well, I finally found her upstairs in the bedroom doing what she does best, nothing! (unless being cute counts as an activity...)
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
