Hey Actifitters,
Nice routine day yesterday once again with this great fall weather continuing. Enjoying it in the yard, I was laughing by myself looking at Le Chat's faces. Well actually just small variants of the same one. I guarantee she isn't upset, that's just her normal face!
Even if I don't think they're as nice as last year's, the colors in the yard are getting pretty good too.
When Kaia rushed to the fence, I knew something was there, our first deer of the day. I only caught one in photo, but I saw at least two other ones fleeing.
The colors on the neighbors' trees aren't so bad either.
Later, we got more deer visiting us.
When they saw me, it kind of stopped them in their tracks. Look at the younger one, so still even its leg is frozen mid-air.
We quickly noticed their friends or quite possibly siblings, were just behind the fence. It's blurry of course, but it was pretty cool to see them jump the fence. The young one hit its legs on the fence, but the bigger one, without even any momentum, jumped above it so easily!
After the deer show, we of course started our daily walk behind the front yard.
Le Chat wasn't in the exploration mood, so she just observed her sister.
That's why we quickly left her there and went to the forest.
Kaia got distracted by new scents probably, and stayed a little behind. But she usually comes back very fast. She's the blurry ghost on the second photo below.
It's funny how sunset colors linger in the sky so long after the sun is actually gone. Beautiful too!
Well, another low step count day, but it's still pretty busy at work. I prefer working late at night than early in the morning, but this time I worked until really very late. I'm sure many people were already waking up when I went to bed. That's probably not something I should do so often.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
