Street photography: Cars [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, dear friends of this beautiful photography community, how are you today? I, for one, am quite well and I hope you are too. Today I decided that it would be a great day to do some street photography, being very honest I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do, but I did want to go out in the street, walk around some places and maybe look for interesting things that would catch my attention, so this is what I did, but after so much thinking about it, I decided to focus on taking some specific pictures and they would be of cars.

Saludos, queridos amigos de esta bella comunidad de fotografía, ¿cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Yo, por mi parte, estoy bastante bien y espero que ustedes también. El día de hoy decidí que sería un excelente día para hacer algunas fotografías callejeras, siendo muy honesto no tenía una idea clara de lo que quería hacer, pero sí que quería salir a la calle, caminar por algunos lugares y quizás ir buscando cosas interesantes que llamaran mi atención, por lo que esto fue lo que hice, pero luego de tanto pensarlo, decidí centrarme en hacer unas fotografías en específico y serían a los autos.

To be in a place where many cars passed was not complicated at all, I simply had to look for an intersection in a busy avenue and every moment was filled with many cars, so it was the right place. At the beginning it was the few cars that arrived at that intersection, but as the minutes went by it was increasing, the key to the site were the traffic lights, which made the cars stop and it was just the right time to take the pictures, as I wanted them to be as still as possible.

Para estar en un lugar donde pasaran muchos autos no fue nada complicado, simplemente tuve que buscar un cruce en una avenida bastante transitada y a cada momento se llenaba de muchos autos, por lo que era el lugar adecuado. Al principio eran los pocos autos que llegaban a ese cruce, pero a medida que fueron pasando los minutos sí que fue incrementando, a clave del sitio eran los semáforos, los que hacían que los autos se detuviesen y era justo el momento adecuado para hacer las fotografías, ya que quería que estuviesen lo más quieto posible.

I must say that I would have liked to have different perspectives and not just one, but even so I found it an interesting idea to make a kind of collection of how many cars could pass through the same avenue and the number of models, colors and sizes of cars was always varied, even I must mention that I'm sure I photographed more than 40 or 50 different types of cars, but in these photographs were the ones I liked the most, so I decided that they would be the ones I would share. The editing style I tried to make it look as if they were vintage photographs, to give an aesthetic of yesteryear to several cars that undoubtedly have many years and are still in circulation.

Debo decir que me hubiese gustado tener distintas perspectivas y no solo una, pero aun así me pareció una idea interesante de hacer una especie de colección de cuántos autos podrían pasar por la misma avenida y la cantidad de modelos, colores y tamaños de autos siempre era variada, hasta debo mencionar que estoy seguro de que fotografíe a más de 40 o 50 diferentes tipos de autos, pero en estas fotografías fueron las que más me gustaron, por eso decidí que serían las que compartiría. El estilo de edición intenté que se notara como si fuesen fotografías vintage, para dar una estética de antaño a varios autos que sin duda tienen muchísimos años y siguen en circulación.
