Greetings, dear friends of the community and photography lovers, I hope you are all feeling great. A couple of weeks ago I did this session with my friend Alejandra and surely you recognize her because a couple of months ago I also shared a different session with her. This time, we decided to do a little more homemade pictures, since the previous ones had been in the street, as a practice and also to try certain spaces that we had not used before for photos, but these pictures that I share with you were taken at Alejandra's house, something more homemade.
Saludos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía, espero que todos se encuentren genial. Hace un par de semanas hice esta sesión junto a mi amiga Alejandra y seguramente le reconocen porque hace un par de meses compartía también una sesión distinta junto a ella. En esta ocasión, decidimos hacer unas fotografías un poco más caseras, ya que las anteriores habían sido en la calle, a modo de práctica y también para probar ciertos espacios que antes no habíamos utilizado para fotos, pero estas fotografías que les comparto las hicimos en casa de Alejandra, algo más casero.
Alejandra had an idea of what she wanted to do, since she had found some reference images, we only needed to choose the right place and this was in the living room of her house, since the front door emitted an excellent natural light and that's why we decided to take these pictures in the morning, taking advantage that it is a time where the sun is really strong and it would be perfect to illuminate the scene. Although Alejandra is also a photographer, she recognizes that she has a little trouble modeling, but between this and the previous times I have taken pictures of her, I must mention that she is getting better and better at posing.
Alejandra tenía una idea de lo que quería hacer, ya que había encontrado algunas imágenes de referencia, ya solo nos faltaba elegir el lugar adecuado y este fue en la sala de su casa, ya que la puerta de entrada emitía una excelente luz natural y por eso decidimos hacer estas fotografías en la mañana, aprovechando que es una hora donde el sol realmente está fuerte y nos vendría a la perfección para iluminar la escena. Aunque Alejandra es fotógrafa también, reconoce que le cuesta un poco el modelar, pero entre esta y las anteriores veces que le he hecho fotografías, debo mencionar que cada vez mejora y tiene más soltura a la hora de posar.
As they are relatively simple photographs where the most important and remarkable thing is the model, I considered that the editing should be similar, something simple that does not saturate the photograph, but that, if it highlights the model more, that's why I leaned more towards a very simple style. The only problem was editing certain details on the wall, although I must say that I did not correct all of them, because I have a certain love for having a texture and certain defects in the background, I think it gives a touch more realism to the photos and not have something that is far from reality, so I only made certain corrections.
Como son unas fotografías relativamente sencillas donde lo más importante y destacable es la modelo, consideré que la edición debería ser similar, algo sencillo que no sature la fotografía, pero que, si resalte más a la modelo, por eso me incliné más por un estilo muy sencillo. Lo único problemático fue editar ciertos detalles en la pared, aunque debo decir que no corregí todos, porque tengo cierto amor por tener una textura y ciertos defectos en el fondo, me parece que le da un toque más de realismo a las fotos y no tener algo que se aleje mucho de la realidad, por eso solo hice ciertas correcciones puntuales.
