It's a complicated process girlfriend, it's the same for me. My pack is very spoiled and they are a bit naughty, I don't know how they would react. I have paused my trips for them, because I don't like to leave them alone. But if I have to leave a whole, or move, I look for ways to arrange for them to go with me and make the process as uncomfortable as possible.

It is good that you have someone you trust to take care of them when you go out, I suggest that you make short and brief trips with them to get them used to these movements, and the day of the move will not be something new.
