Greetings!
One thing that used to come to my mind when it comes to fitness is that it's all about exercise, but recently, I learned that staying fit is more than exercise as there are other things that keep us human fit and healthy.
Although, doing exercise and going to gyms are good for the body to keep us fit, but left to me, going to gym or doing exercise is not enough for a person to stay fit. There are other measures and means that I believe keep one's fit.
So, having said this, I would like to talk about my fitness as required by the indiaunited weekly contest. To start with, I would say that I'm not fit. Though, I do a lot of exercise on a daily basis and also go to the gym on every weekend, but one thing I have got to realize from all of these exercises is that I'm not yet fit.
However, doing exercises makes one stay fit and healthy, but taking enough rest and eating well are the other ways through which I'm now using to keep fit.

Like I said earlier, I have adopted many form of exercises and still I'm not fit as I'm supposed to be. But immediately I discovered taking enough rest can help me keep fit, so I adopted it.
Though I have always taken rest before, it is not enough. I remember when I fell ill some time ago, the doctor told me there's nothing wrong with me. He said I should make sure I take enough rest and ever since I have been doing this, I have been keeping myself fit and I'm happy about that.
In addition, eating good and balanced food has also been one of the ways I have been keeping myself fit. I could remember back then when I only relied on exercise alone without eating better food. Then, I don't look like someone doing exercise because of me not eating good food, but ever since I started eating good food plus exercising my nerves, I have been keeping myself fit.
Furthermore, taking the required volume of water has always helped me to stay fit as this always dehydrates me whenever I'm hydrated. So, taking water as and when due has really contributed to my fitness.

Finally, walking some distance and dancing to a musical beat everyday has really helped me to stay fit. Though these two are forms of exercise that are not common, doing both as my daily routine has really helped me to keep and stay fit.
In conclusion, staying fit is more than exercising our nerves or going to the gym. To, there are many ways to stay fit and this can be seen in what I have shared with us above.
